WORKSHOPS

Adventure & Photography Focused.

Curated by Nature.

Since 2015, Iceland has been my home, and my bond with its landscapes, people, and culture has grown stronger over the years.

Through photography, writing, and poetry, I've endeavoured to explore, capture, and convey the unfiltered beauty of this land - honing my visual storytelling skills along the way.

Now, I extend to you the opportunity to experience Iceland as I do and to elevate your own photographic skills in the process.

Hosted by Donal.

For up to 2-guests on 3-5 day custom itineraries.

I’ll work with you directly to design a custom itinerary for any season.

From camping out in the remote regions of the highlands to cozy stays in private cabins. Activities range from glacier caves in winter months, to day hikes and herb collecting in the summer and fall. By default everything is focused on connecting to nature and developing your photography skills.

I’m not going to just bring you to places you’ll read about in the guide books. You’ll join me to my favorite locations, off the beaten path, discovered over years of adventures in the mountains.

If you want to do a trip to the Icelandic classic locations, this is not the trip for you.

Note: Inquiries of up to 4 people are possible.

Co-Hosted by Emma Romeijn.

Emma is a director, (impact) producer, and editor for Atlas 1 Studio - a media production company that she and Donal co-founded in 2022.

Emma has been living in Iceland for years and possesses a special knowledge of the landscape, the culture, and details in nature. As a co-host, Emma is committed to sharing her love for Iceland and its wild places with guests. She’s also responsible for logistics, wholesome plant-based culinary meals during the workshops, and also tells great jokes.

Photography lessons that match your personal learning style.

You'll get my undivided attention and exclusive access to my photography expertise, covering everything from camera setup to creative techniques, editing, and business insights. Gain hands-on experience in the field, tailored to your learning style.

I've guided students of all levels worldwide, and I'm excited to teach you too!

Note: Not all guests are required to have an interest in photography. If a second guest want's to just come along for the ride to experience Iceland, it’s encouraged!
